Corporate Innovation Specialist

About the role

The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is seeking a Corporate Innovation Specialist to strengthen its culture of innovation, support the Innovation Team, and enhance the impact of its work across the region. This remote consultancy will run for nine months and focuses on designing and delivering innovation activities, training, and digital tool adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement innovation activities and training programmes that build a culture of innovation among ESCAP staff.
• Coach project teams in applying Design Thinking, Human‑Centered Design, and futures methodologies for product development and strategic planning.
• Support ESCAP personnel in using digital tools to improve usability and user‑centricity, including license assignment, onboarding, tutorials, and training.
• Collaborate with the Business Automation Specialist and ITS colleagues to develop automation solutions and map workflows.
• Prepare, launch, and manage the annual Seed Funding exercise that finances innovative projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate innovation, change management, or related fields.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse divisions and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training and coaching sessions.
