Lead Consultant – Delivery Management (Electrical Engineering)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive delivery management for electrical engineering projects within its Infrastructure business. You will work with highly skilled specialists to turn ideas into reality for complex, global infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate resources, vendors and third‑party partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope and objectives, secure resource availability and develop detailed project plans.
• Manage project changes, monitor performance, report progress to senior management and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Conduct risk management activities and keep comprehensive project documentation.
• Delegate tasks, track budgets and performance, and support professional development of team members.

Required profile

• Passion for innovative engineering and continuous learning.
• Professional Engineering or Architect License (2nd Class) with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
• Excellent client‑facing, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and multitasking proficiency.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
