Structural Engineer – Buildings

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Structural Engineer to join its Built Environment business in Bangkok. You will work on a variety of building projects, from high‑rise towers to low‑rise developments, delivering structural calculations, drawings and specifications that turn innovative ideas into reality.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and review structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications and reports.
• Design high‑rise and low‑rise building structures, including reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned and steel systems.
• Create and analyse finite‑element models using software such as STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000 and ETABS.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer licence from the Council of Engineers, Thailand (2nd level preferred).
• 5–7 years of design experience in a consulting engineering environment.
• Strong English communication skills and proficiency with engineering software.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned and steel structures in the building sector.
