Trust & Safety Associate - Hindi Speaker

About the role

Accenture's Trust and Safety offering within Accenture Operations helps keep the internet safe and supports platform companies in scaling their businesses. Content moderators act as a line of defense, improving the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on experience. This role is based in Bangkok and requires Hindi speaking ability.

The work involves reviewing user profiles, audio, video and text content, and investigating, escalating and resolving issues reported by users or flagged by systems. Moderators may be exposed to flashing lights, contrasting light and dark patterns, and to potentially objectionable or sensitive content such as graphic, violent or sexual material, so resilience and coping skills are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Review, classify and remove content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels
• Stay up to date on changing client policies and guidelines
• Investigate, resolve and escalate complex content issues to the wider Trust and Safety team
• Act as an advocate for the user community
• Take part in process improvement initiatives and continuous training and workgroup discussions
• Discuss socially sensitive topics to keep communities safe

Required profile

• Strong coping, emotional resilience and stress-management skills
• Hindi and English comprehension and communication skills
• Ability to work objectively, without bias, in line with client policies
• Attention to detail, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Passion for the internet and its platforms, and cultural awareness of the relevant market and region
• Ability to work alone and in a team, and to work different rotations, shifts and non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
• Over 18 years of age
• Previous BPO, customer service or content moderation experience is a plus
