Digital Native Account Executive, Thailand

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Digital Native Account Executive to sell its Data and AI platform to Digital Native accounts in Thailand. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Emerging Enterprise & DNB, and work with cross-functional teams to close new business and grow existing accounts in the Thailand market.

Key responsibilities

• Assess accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers
• Use a solution-based approach to create value for new logos
• Switch between technical and business buyer personas to connect customer challenges to business value across the sales cycle
• Identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
• Track customer details, projects, purchase time frames, next steps and forecasting in Salesforce
• Map whitespace opportunities in your territory and identify the most viable use cases per account
• Work with teams to maximise impact on your ecosystem and build value to reach negotiation close
• Deliver technical and business results using the Databricks Intelligence Platform

Required profile

• 5+ years of Digital Native sales experience exceeding quotas, covering Thailand accounts or territory
• Experience in a consumption-based sales motion and strong closing record
• Sales experience in cloud software, open source technology, or ideally data and AI
• Experience driving adoption of usage-based subscription services (SaaS) and co-selling with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud teams
• Ability to co-develop business cases and gain support from C-level executives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency in Thai is required, as clients are based in Thailand and communication is in native Thai

Required skills

• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Territory and Account planning, MEDDPICC and value/discovery selling
• Ability to explain complex cloud technologies clearly
