National Consultant – Outreach & Public Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Thailand is seeking a National Consultant to lead outreach and public engagement activities. The consultant will help expand UNFPA’s visibility and support for its reproductive health and demographic change agenda across Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach strategy using traditional media, social media and other communication channels.
• Promote UNFPA’s results and mandate to Thai citizens both online and offline.
• Engage civil society, government, private sector and UN partners to build advocacy networks.
• Recruit and mobilise public supporters to influence policy change and resource mobilisation.
• Coordinate the production of communication materials and monitor their impact.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to UN values and human rights.
• Proven experience in external relations, communications, partnership‑building and resource mobilisation.
• Ability to manage resources transparently and deliver high‑impact results.
• Strong ethical standards and ability to work in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
