Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer (Expedited Recruitment)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Regional Ethics and Integrity Officer to support ethical governance across its Regional Office and Country Missions in the assigned region. This expedited recruitment is open to internal and internal‑equivalent candidates and focuses on ensuring consistent application of IOM’s Standards of Conduct, conflict‑of‑interest policies, and protection mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point for ethics‑related matters within the region, coordinating with the Headquarters and relevant offices.
• Provide technical guidance on the interpretation and application of IOM’s Standards of Conduct, conflict‑of‑interest disclosures, and reporting channels.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Regional Office, Country Missions, and the Ethics and Conduct Unit.
• Identify, analyse, and report emerging ethics trends and issues, recommending appropriate actions.
• Support the development and delivery of ethics training and outreach activities.
• Contribute to the annual conflict‑of‑interest disclosure programme and speak‑up initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in ethics, compliance, or integrity functions, preferably within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of ethical standards, conflict‑of‑interest policies, and whistle‑blowing mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across multiple countries.
