Regional Maintenance Manager – Pet Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy for Nestlé Purina PetCare’s pet‑food factories across the AOA region. The role combines technical leadership, continuous‑improvement initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration to boost equipment reliability and asset performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Category Maintenance strategy for multiple pet‑food manufacturing sites.
• Develop and roll out Category Maintenance Packages (CMPs/MEPs) to enhance maintenance effectiveness.
• Drive predictive maintenance, CMMS excellence and digital maintenance projects.
• Provide technical support, coaching and troubleshooting to factory engineering and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé maintenance standards, safety requirements and engineering best practices.
• Partner with regional engineering, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable performance improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in technology transferable to pet‑food manufacturing.
• Proven background in maintenance management, reliability engineering or manufacturing operations within FMCG, food & beverage or pet‑food sectors.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
