Sustainability Manager - NPP AOA

About the role

The Sustainability Manager for Nestlé’s NPP AOA business unit will lead the regional sustainability strategy, governance and project delivery across the Bangkok head office and multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and align the regional sustainability strategy and governance, driving cross‑functional collaboration and embedding GHG considerations into the Idea to Launch framework.
• Deliver ESG targets for packaging circularity, climate and regenerative agriculture, overseeing project benefits, reporting and pipeline management.
• Support external disclosures and local customer requests, developing climate risk and opportunity assessments for operations and sourcing.
• Build and maintain the ingredient emission factors database, transition from secondary to primary data, and ensure a single source of truth for carbon footprint calculations.
• Collaborate with marketing to provide scientific evidence for brand communications and validate claims with legal and regulatory teams.
• Develop sustainability capability across markets through onboarding, training, digital learning solutions and act as the single point of contact for Climate Hub tools.

Required profile

• Master's degree in environmental science, agronomy, carbon accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, carbon accounting or environmental management, preferably in an industrial or FMCG setting.
• Strong understanding of GHG accounting methodologies (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and life‑cycle assessment tools.
• Experience managing emission‑factors databases and primary data collection for carbon‑footprint calculations.
• Familiarity with regenerative agriculture, packaging circularity and biodiversity frameworks.
• Proven ability to collaborate across factories, marketing, legal, regulatory and category teams.
• Comfortable navigating a matrixed, multi‑market organisation and engaging stakeholders across cultures.
