Purchasing Project Manager – Global Connector Business

About the role

The Purchasing Project Manager will define and implement purchasing projects and procurement strategies for the Hemaraj Plant in Thailand and other global locations within Bosch Powertrain Solutions – Components and Connectors. The role supports ASEAN and Asia‑Pacific localization of components, focusing on new connector projects and International Production Network consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale purchasing relocation projects, delivering cost, quality and timing targets.
• Collaborate with international cross‑functional teams, including relocation steering and simultaneous engineering groups.
• Execute Engineering Change Management (ECR) and Ratio Project Planning (RPP) activities.
• Represent the Purchasing organization to national and international management, presenting project status and results.
• Organize and lead Technical Supplier Discussions (TSD) with internal stakeholders such as manufacturing and engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field.
• Strong supplier project management experience, preferably with relocation projects.
• Knowledge of supplier quality management (a plus).
• Experience in automotive environments, cost‑saving initiatives and engineering change processes.
• Technical background in plastic‑molding manufacturing processes and commercial activities such as price benchmarking and cost studies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; fluent Thai and English (additional languages a plus).
