Thailand Analyst

About the role

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its Thailand team in Bangkok, helping multinational clients understand Thailand’s political‑economic environment and support investment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Research and monitor business and investment sector issues, including government policies, regulatory developments and consumer trends.
• Analyze and interpret corporate, policy and political implications of regulations at national and provincial levels.
• Produce concise, actionable reports in both Thai and English for clients and BGA leadership.
• Build and maintain networks with bureaucrats, public officials, business community, civil‑society groups and media.
• Support the design and implementation of business, government‑relations and public‑affairs strategies, and manage event logistics.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Thailand’s political‑economic environment and ability to navigate it for multinational clients.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in public policy, economics, law or related fields.
• 2‑5 years of experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism or consulting relevant to Thailand.
• Fluent in English and Thai with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, collegial, able to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Competence with basic internet applications.
• Experience with Salesforce (a plus).
