AI‑Assisted Codebase Migrator Development Intern

About the role

This unpaid, full‑time internship is based in the Enterprise Solutions Service of the Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT/ESS) at UNESCAP in Bangkok. You will work five days a week (35 hours) under the guidance of an OICT staff member, contributing to the development of an AI‑assisted codebase migrator.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain C# code for the migrator application.
• Integrate and call AI coding‑assistant services via APIs.
• Deploy, test, and troubleshoot the application in a cloud or on‑prem environment.
• Commit code to a Git repository and follow version‑control best practices.
• Participate in weekly sprint meetings and provide status updates.
• Prepare technical documentation and demo the solution to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, with attention to deadlines.
• Motivation to learn and apply AI‑driven development tools.

Required skills

• C# programming.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
• Basic knowledge of software deployment and testing.
