Data Analyst – SDG Dashboard Consultant

About the role

The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) seeks a Data Analyst on a consultancy basis to support the preparation of Voluntary National Reviews for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The role focuses on analysing SDG data and delivering clear, professionally designed dashboards for national progress assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Source, process, and analyse the latest SDG data using ESCAP’s statistical methods and methodologies.
• Develop novel data‑science techniques to track SDG progress.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations that present trends and insights for stakeholders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• University degree in communication technology, data science, or data visualisation is an asset.
• Proven experience in data visualisation and graphic design for online publication.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN official language is advantageous.
• Experience within the United Nations system is a plus.
