Consultant – Regional Data Hub Information Management (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Consultant to support its Regional Data Hub (RDH) Information Management activities in the Asia‑Pacific region. Working under the Regional Data Hub Coordinator and guided by the Global DTM team, you will help implement data‑management initiatives linked to ongoing migration challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of DTM activities across the region, ensuring compliance with global standards and quality of country‑level outputs.
• Maintain and enhance data visualization, dissemination, and sharing procedures for migration data.
• Streamline data collection, storage, processing, and analysis to produce actionable information products.
• Consolidate regional information from country offices and expand data‑management initiatives as needed.
• Handle confidential and sensitive data in accordance with IOM policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Media, Social Sciences or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a university degree with five years of experience.
• Proven experience in information management, emergency humanitarian operations, and data handling.
• Experience in migration research or general research is an advantage.
