Engagement Manager - Life Sciences Consulting

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Engagement Manager in Bangkok to manage and lead multiple consulting projects for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries, delivering them on time and on budget. The role combines project management, client leadership and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project teams, including internal and external resources, in the design, development and delivery of client deliverables
• Serve as key point of contact with the client, give direction and advice, and provide follow-up after delivery to ensure client satisfaction
• Ensure clear communication throughout projects and within the team
• Support the development of intellectual property for future engagements
• Manage proposal preparation and modifications, including bid integrity
• Elevate new business opportunities through follow-on work and new leads
• Develop knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through training
• Take part in team meetings, contribute to client reports and presentations, and share subject-matter expertise
• Lead ad hoc work streams on people issues such as recruitment and learning and development, and coach 3-4 staff

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a relevant graduate qualification
• 8-10 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare, with evidence of career progression
• Demonstrable experience in the life sciences and/or healthcare industries
• Track record of leadership and people development
• Fluency in spoken and written English and willingness and ability to travel
• Right to live and work in Thailand

• Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations, meeting chairing, workshop facilitation and report writing
• Experience managing large or multiple projects and leading staff in multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques
• Knowledge of key issues and developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
