Factory HR Business Partner

About the role

Hitachi Energy Thailand is looking for a Factory HR Business Partner in Samut Prakan. The role acts as a strategic HR partner for the factory, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to support a high-performing manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with factory leadership to turn business needs into HR strategies, covering organizational design, workforce planning and change management.
• Oversee talent acquisition (recruitment, selection, onboarding) and run talent development, performance management and succession planning.
• Handle complex employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions and grievances in line with labour laws and company policies.
• Support the compensation and benefits team with salary reviews, incentives and benefits administration.
• Ensure HR policies are applied consistently and that factory operations comply with Thai labour laws.
• Use HR data to track key performance indicators and report on HR trends.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training for factory employees and managers.
• Partner with EHS teams so that HR aspects of safety policies are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Strong knowledge of Thai labour laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and HR policy implementation.
• Fluent in written and spoken Thai and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-influence skills.
