Program Development and Award Advisor, Asia

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Program Development and Award Advisor for its Asia portfolio. The advisor will work with country programmes across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Pakistan and Thailand to develop high‑quality donor proposals, ensure compliance with donor regulations and manage award administration.

Key responsibilities

• Support country teams in preparing and submitting donor proposals that meet IRC standards.
• Review and coordinate donor deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage award administration, including budgets, disbursements and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with institutional donors and IRC headquarters donor counterparts.
• Provide guidance on the Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results (PEER) system and partnership management processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian or international development programmes.
• Proven track record of working with multilateral and bilateral donors.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations, grant management and compliance.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to produce high‑quality proposals.
• Experience working in or with the IRC Asia countries is strongly preferred.
