Tennis Coach – Part‑time (10 hrs/week)

About the role

The Tennis Coach will deliver the school's tennis programme, providing instruction, organising trials, and supporting student athletes across term and non‑term periods. The role is part‑time, 10 hours per week, and includes on‑campus coaching, administration and travel duties.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver all aspects of the tennis programme as directed by the Director of Sport and Head of Tennis.
• Instruct and demonstrate techniques for individual and team development, ensuring clear communication of team rules and eligibility.
• Organise, advertise and conduct trials, manage the selection process using SOCS, and inform participants of final selections.
• Provide season information (training schedule, camp schedule, trial criteria) and maintain accurate communication with students and parents via email and Google Classroom.
• Travel with student athletes on the team bus to competitions and confirm transportation logistics with the PE Admin Assistant.
• Secure PE facilities after use, report injuries to school nurses, complete accident reports within 24 hours, and uphold safeguarding and child‑protection procedures.
• Model good sportsmanship, use the school's social media to promote the sport, and assist with tournament scheduling and delivery.

Required profile

• Internationally‑recognised Coaching Certificate.
• Proven ability to organise and supervise a whole‑school tennis programme.
• Previous coaching experience in a school or comparable setting.
• Good command of spoken and written English (desirable) and solid computer skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and alignment with Bangkok Prep core values.
