Accountant Officer – Full Set Accounting

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant Officer to manage the full set of accounts for our Bangkok office. The role covers accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, month‑end closing, financial reporting and tax compliance, working under the supervision of the finance manager.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and record all general accounting transactions, including accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and fixed‑asset registers.
• Process supplier invoices, prepare payment requests, reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Issue customer invoices, record receivables, reconcile customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
• Execute monthly and year‑end closing, prepare bank reconciliations, trial balances and preliminary financial reports.
• Prepare and submit Thai tax filings (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax) and ensure compliance with Revenue Department regulations.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, coordinating with auditors and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal departments, assist with system updates and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, General Ledger and month‑end closing.
• Good understanding of Thai taxation, including VAT and withholding tax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Peak or ERP) is a plus.
