About the role

Join AIG as an Accident & Health Underwriter in Bangkok, supporting business and distribution teams while contributing to the transformation of our underwriting model. This role offers the chance to grow your specialist expertise within a global insurance leader.

Key responsibilities

• Support business and distribution teams by delegating instructions, providing risk appetite guidance, and liaising with regional underwriters on new product submissions.
• Underwrite new business within assigned authority, manage policy delivery, and ensure compliance with internal audit guidelines.
• Facilitate portfolio management, analyze claims data, and support business case development.
• Coordinate internal and external audit reviews and manage ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, actuarial science, accounting, finance or related fields.
• Experience as an underwriter or production underwriter, preferably in Accident & Health.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of underwriting and insurance industry practices.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF (preferred).
