Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (Line & Base)

About the role

This position supports licensed Aircraft Engineers in performing both line and base maintenance on helicopters, ensuring compliance with OEM data and Airbus Helicopters maintenance procedures. The role is based in the Bangkok area and involves hands‑on work in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist licensed Aircraft Engineers with pre‑flight and post‑flight checks and routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform maintenance in line with customer requests, ADs, SBs and document all work accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of tools, equipment and ground support gear.
• Report any unusual occurrences, safety concerns or deviations from standard practices.
• Participate in preventive maintenance of ground support equipment and continuous workplace improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in aeronautical engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Attendance at a CAAT‑approved Maintenance Training Organisation.
• Current knowledge of airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins (SBs).
• Ability to work on a duty roster supporting flight operations at Romklao.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Practical experience in O/I‑level airframe repair.
• Competence in using maintenance information systems.
• Meeting AHT Qualifying Mechanic competency requirements.
