Area Sales Manager – Health Science

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead a high‑performing team to achieve sales targets and business KPIs for Nestlé Health Science across Bangkok and upcountry territories. The role translates commercial and marketing strategies into effective field action plans while building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive achievement of sales targets, market share and business KPIs through effective territory and account management.
• Translate company and marketing strategies into field execution plans, ensuring consistent implementation of account plans and promotional activities.
• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching and field accompaniment, fostering a culture of continuous learning and succession planning.
• Maximise sales force productivity by planning territories, segmenting customers, prioritising resources and leveraging CRM and sales‑effectiveness tools.
• Establish and maintain sustainable partnerships with key opinion leaders, prescribers and healthcare institutions to drive advocacy and growth.
• Prioritise high‑impact commercial investments, aligning resource allocation with business objectives to ensure optimal return on investment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field operation management within the pharmaceutical or nutritional sector, with proven team‑leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term relationships with surgeons, physicians, dietitians, pharmacists and other health officials.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region, a valid driving licence and strong command of English.
