About the role
The Assistant Manager – Sales will support the business unit in achieving sales targets for cCM1 and volume while ensuring accurate forecasting and stock control. Based in the Emporium office, the role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver smooth operations for customers in the chemical sector.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for cCM1 and volume.
- Compile and update market intelligence on customers, competitors and market trends.
- Provide accurate APO forecasts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Technical Development and Global Key Account Management to support customers.
- Record customer interactions, opportunities, risks and requirements in Salesforce.
- Drive innovation and sustainability projects for existing and new customers.
- Develop relationships at all organizational levels to understand short‑ and long‑term customer needs.
- Maintain and improve volume forecast accuracy.
- Update key account plans with short‑ and long‑term strategies.
- Support teamwork and contribute to additional tasks assigned by the operational leader.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or business/market development experience in the chemical industry, preferably with polyurethane (PU).
- Strong knowledge of polymers, especially PU.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Good computer literacy.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
