Assistant Manager, Security and Safety

About the role

Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai is looking for an Assistant Manager, Security and Safety. The role oversees daily security, safety, fire life safety and emergency response operations to protect guests, employees, visitors, assets and property, and leads the Security Department, the Ranger team and third-party security providers. It supports the Director of Security on emergency plans and acts as Incident Commander or Emergency Coordinator during major incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Security Department and the Ranger team, and ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, facilities and property.
• Maintain regular security patrols and inspections, and monitor CCTV, access control, fire alarms, emergency lighting, radios and satellite phones.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, accidents, fires and medical emergencies, and escalate them to the Director of Security.
• Develop, implement and review emergency response, crisis management, business continuity and fire life safety plans, and conduct risk assessments for guest activities such as elephant interactions.
• Organize fire drills, evacuation drills, firefighting training, shift briefings and security tests, and coordinate with local authorities, police, fire and rescue services and hospitals.
• Investigate accidents, injuries and security incidents, and prepare monthly safety and security reports.
• Supervise and coach Rangers, manage their duties (luggage handling, guest assistance, VIP meet-and-greet), and maintain security logs, incident reports and inventory.

Required profile

• Experience in security operations, safety management, fire life safety, emergency response, risk assessment, accident investigation and incident reporting.
• Certified or experienced in CPR, First Aid and Fire Fighting.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, written and verbal English, and ability to coordinate with authorities and external providers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, fire safety standards and security procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
