Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager (Assistant Head Coach) you will be the face of Nike, driving product knowledge and customer connections. You will support the Store Leader in managing sales, merchandising, operations and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Leader in overseeing all store functions and act as the primary manager in their absence.
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of business support staff, set priorities and ensure task completion.
• Recruit, hire and develop a diverse, high‑energy team while maintaining strong customer service standards.
• Prepare statistical and narrative reports on store performance and communicate with visual and maintenance teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years retail experience, or 5 years retail experience without a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience, including coaching, counseling and developing people.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
