Associate IT Analyst – Onsite Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Associate IT Analyst to join our team at Atotech Thailand, a brand of MKS. The role focuses on onsite end‑user computing support, infrastructure maintenance and ensuring smooth daily IT operations across multiple office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software and network issues, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Manage laptop lifecycle – imaging, provisioning, deployment and patching during hardware refresh cycles.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals and network equipment.
• Support server and storage systems, keep rack/closet areas clean and properly cabled.
• Assist IT projects such as equipment refreshes, software rollouts and office moves.
• Coordinate with local business units and global IT stakeholders on outages, upgrades and project delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely issue resolution and optimal service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in End‑User Computing and IT infrastructure support.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Experience with new build projects and ability to work independently in field environments.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite troubleshooting (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Active Directory and Group Policy Objects administration.
• Laptop imaging and provisioning tools.
• Core networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols.
• Configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points (Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto preferred).
• Physical rack‑and‑stack hardware deployment, structured cabling and UPS management.
