Associate Manager - GL & Tax Accounting

About the role

The Associate Manager – GL & Tax Accounting is responsible for managing the General Ledger and tax return activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records in line with internal policies and accounting standards. This role supports month‑end and year‑end closing processes and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to obtain necessary documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review journal entries to ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing.
• Review and reconcile assigned GL accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Validate accounting transactions for proper classification and documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and audit schedules.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Coordinate tax return processes and tax audits, reconciling accounting books with tax books.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5–7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years at a senior or supervisory level.
• Experience in tax filing and tax return preparation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
