Chinese Business Development Manager

About the role

Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, is seeking a Chinese Business Development Manager to expand its customer base and strengthen relationships in Thailand. You will work in a fast‑paced, diverse environment, collaborating with professional teams to deliver sustainable logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the current portfolio and develop new customers across Air Freight, Trucking, Cross‑border, Warehousing and related services.
• Build strong relationships with key and potential customers, understand their needs and propose integrated logistics solutions.
• Develop customer value propositions, conduct consultative sales and communicate market trends, price fluctuations and policies.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Commercial Planning, Product and other functions to ensure up‑to‑date market intelligence.
• Maintain precise sales reporting and system updates for management tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Development Manager or Field Sales in logistics or services.
• Proven track record of winning large opportunities in both tendered and non‑tendered environments.
• Native Thai or Chinese language proficiency with professional Chinese and English skills.
• Strong negotiation, project management and C‑level communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast‑paced international setting.

Required skills

• Experience developing consultative sales strategies and value propositions.
