Co-Manufacturing Manager – Asia, Oceania & Africa

About the role

The Co-Manufacturing Manager will lead Nestlé Purina PetCare’s outsourcing strategy across Asia, Oceania and Africa. This senior position is responsible for sourcing, contracting, and managing external manufacturers to ensure product quality, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Make‑vs‑Buy analyses, gathering cross‑functional inputs and ensuring projects are assessed before outsourcing.
• Identify, evaluate and select contract manufacturers, co‑fillers and co‑packers, coordinating audits and capability assessments.
• Negotiate and manage Confidentiality Agreements, Letters of Intent and full Contract Manufacturing Agreements.
• Develop and maintain a strategic portfolio of contract manufacturers, segmenting them by strategic relevance and building long‑term sourcing relationships.
• Oversee operational performance of contract manufacturers through regular scorecard reviews covering quality, cost and service.
• Manage budgetary aspects of outsourcing projects, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits and price negotiations reflect Nestlé’s interests.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in factory production and supply‑chain environments.
• Proven ability to influence large, geographically dispersed teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
• Track record of delivering results through functional leadership and cross‑functional project management.
• Strong background in continuous‑improvement methodologies such as TPM and LEAN.
• Highly developed negotiation skills and experience managing external partners.
