Cruise Ship Guest Photographer

About the role

The photographer will capture guest moments on a cruise ship, covering embarkation, disembarkation, pool deck, formal nights and special events with the Captain. The role requires delivering high‑quality, well‑exposed images that meet company standards while providing a warm first impression to every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot guest photos at the gangway, on the pool deck, during formal nights and at the Captain’s welcome party.
• Achieve budgeted sales, image count and sell‑through targets each voyage.
• Maintain equipment, perform inventories, handle transfers, deletions and price changes.
• Ensure timely resolution of any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Adhere to company Core Values and Service Essentials program in all duties.

Required profile

• Formal photography education and training preferred.
• Minimum two years of event photography experience, including portrait work in large settings.
• Prior sales experience is required.

Required skills

• Proficient with professional‑grade digital cameras (e.g., Nikon D7200, Konica R1/R2, Fuji Frontier, Noritsu).
• Experience with studio lighting and flash systems (Nikon Flash, Hansel Studio Flash).
• Strong Windows and Mac computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Competent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar graphic software.
