About the role
The Data Engineer will build, optimize and maintain robust data pipelines and design meaningful data models in our cloud‑based Data Platform to enable analysts to drive key business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain data pipelines that ingest structured and unstructured marketplace data into the Data Platform.
- Continuously improve solutions, tools and processes by evaluating new ideas.
- Collaborate with IT teams such as Architecture, DevOps and Business Analysts to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
- Coach fellow associate data engineers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational database design and handling large data volumes.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for data‑oriented applications.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.
