Deals Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Deals Strategy & Operations Manager to help clients maximise value from their transactions. You will work across the full deal lifecycle, from pre‑deal diligence to post‑completion integration and separation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Frame client issues, set realistic expectations and define project mandates.
• Apply hypothesis‑driven, scientific methods to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, including market sizing, competitor dynamics, customer insights and internal financial assessments.
• Develop and apply methodologies tailored to specific client challenges.
• Plan, organise, manage and track multiple workstreams and project timelines.
• Build collaborative relationships, mentor team members and foster a productive engagement environment.
• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Strong experience in management or strategy consulting, M&A advisory, investment banking or corporate development.
• University degree; Master’s or MBA preferred but not essential.
• Proven academic or career track record with strong business, financial and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site with clients for extended periods.
