Engineering Manager – Wealth Management App

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing team building a wealth‑management application used by millions across Southeast Asia. The role blends people leadership with deep technical involvement, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of customer‑focused products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend and full‑stack development, setting high engineering standards.
• Own delivery for major product areas, driving architecture decisions for APIs, databases, integrations and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution.
• Monitor production outcomes, resolve incidents, and improve processes, tooling and automation.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
• Proven leadership of software engineers, with ability to coach, manage performance and build high‑performing teams.
• Excellent product sense, connecting engineering decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, distributed international environment.
