Finance Business Partner (Logistics)

About the role

Maersk is looking for a Finance Business Partner (FBP) to lead the operational finance team within a clearly defined unit. The FBP runs the business partnering cycle in their scope of responsibility, delivering performance transparency through budgeting, forecasting, scenario simulations and business cases, and working closely with Product Heads, Country Heads, Operations, Solution Design, Business Development and the local and regional finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly profit and loss analysis by customer and site for stakeholders, with clear insights
• Build business cases and financial models and hold sparring sessions with Product Heads and Country Heads
• Contribute to the Product FBP community in the Mekong area and the Asia Pacific region, sharing best practices and developing capabilities
• Take part in projects and other focal roles, and play a key role in driving the company's business plan with key stakeholders
• Proactively identify opportunities and drive transformation and business growth initiatives
• Coach and inspire the finance team to move towards world-class business finance

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling preferred
• At least 5 years of experience, either in the logistics and services industry with the relevant education, or in finance planning and analysis, finance business partnering, product management, corporate planning or equivalent
• Business-level English
• Understanding of the logistics and services business

Required skills

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel
• SAP, Oracle or BI experience is an advantage
• Ability to present to senior leaders in English and to influence without authority
