Finance Director – International Relocation – Thailand

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Finance Director to lead the finance function of a large international manufacturing operation based in Thailand. This senior position is ideal for a UK‑based finance leader looking to relocate or an experienced expatriate seeking a new challenge.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for a major manufacturing site in Thailand.
• Partner with senior operational leaders to drive commercial decision‑making.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and capital expenditure processes.
• Deliver insightful monthly reporting and performance analysis.
• Manage statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance and governance.
• Improve cost control, cash flow, working capital and overall operational performance.
• Develop and mentor the local finance team.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvement and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven finance leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering or an industrial environment.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a track record of driving change.
• Solid technical accounting, reporting and governance knowledge.
• International or multi‑site experience is a plus.
