Financial Analyst

About the role

Thai AirAsia X is hiring a Financial Analyst for its TAX entity, based at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok. The role sits in the Finance department and covers corporate budgeting, financial modelling, forecasting, risk assessment and operational analysis to support strategic decisions. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Work with executive leadership to build annual corporate budgets aligned with business strategy.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), operating metrics and key financial ratios.
• Run feasibility studies and profitability models for proposed route expansions, and partner with regional teams on route profitability.
• Maintain rolling P&L forecasts and projections for management and external stakeholders.
• Advise on risk exposure, corporate debt and loans, investment performance and liquidity management.
• Prepare Board of Directors materials and carry out ad-hoc analyses and oversee third-party financial activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning or similar roles; audit firm experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English, suitable for executive-level reporting.
• Proactive, agile and able to deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
