Head of Communications and Engagement

About the role

The Head of Communications and Engagement will lead Save the Children’s communications, campaigns, media, brand and audience engagement work in Thailand. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role shapes strategy to raise public awareness of children’s issues, support fundraising and drive policy change.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that strengthens the organisation’s reputation, increases visibility and engages supporters across digital, media and public channels.
• Oversee production of high‑quality content, including case studies, blogs, videos and marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and safeguarding standards.
• Lead Thailand’s media strategy, build relationships with legacy and new media, and aim for the number‑one share of voice on child‑related issues.
• Manage the Communications and Engagement team, provide coaching, and ensure effective budgeting and reporting of KPIs.
• Support fundraising and business development with donor‑facing communications, campaign messaging and stewardship content.
• Coordinate with programme, MEAL and advocacy teams to monitor and evaluate campaign impact and mitigate risks.
