International Consultant – Energy Transition for Green Growth

About the role

The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) seeks an International Consultant to support the launch of its Energy Transition for Green Growth and Prosperity (ETGGP) programme in Southeast Asia. The consultant will work from Bangkok for an expected seven‑month period, delivering knowledge products and communication outputs that enhance the visibility of the initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a comprehensive report summarising discussion points and outcomes from the inception phase, including advisory group meetings, workshops and roundtables.
• Compile and organise a folder of knowledge products such as brochures, posters, infographics and digital content to support ETGGP.
• Produce communication materials for the Energy Foundation project, including event and exhibition assets, web and social media content.
• Coordinate with ESCAP’s Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division and Energy Division to ensure alignment with programme pillars.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering knowledge‑based outputs (reports, brochures, infographics, digital media) for international programmes.
• Familiarity with energy transition, green growth, or sustainable development initiatives is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and adhere to tight timelines.
