Korean Translation & Localization Specialist (Bangkok)

About the role

We are looking for a Korean linguist and localization expert to improve the Korean version of Agoda’s products. The position is based in central Bangkok with relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor quality of Korean translations across site updates, hotel content, press releases, travel articles, promotional emails and newsletters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain localization assets such as style guides, glossaries and translation memories.
• Support urgent translation requests and conduct product reviews for inconsistencies.
• Evaluate, onboard and manage translation vendors and freelancers, including invoicing.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in Korean with excellent writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Translation, Korean Language or a related field.
• Proven translation and localization experience, preferably using CAT tools.
• Strong English proficiency and excellent internet research skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CAT tools such as MemoQ or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to create and refine AI prompts for better Korean translation output.
