Lead Consultant, Delivery Management (Civil Engineering)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive delivery management for civil engineering projects. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for project execution.
• Define project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost.
• Measure performance using appropriate tools, report status, and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain client relationships, conduct risk management, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Delegate tasks to junior staff based on strengths and track short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Prepare spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to capture project requirements.

Required profile

• Professional Engineering or Architect license (2nd Class).
• Minimum 21 years of experience in project management within civil engineering.
• Strong client‑facing and internal communication abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
