Lead Engineer – Technical Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex products and systems, raising the engineering bar across the team. This hands‑on leadership position involves designing, building, and delivering high‑impact features while mentoring engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and execution of major products, features, and engineering initiatives.
• Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend, frontend, API, database, and infrastructure systems.
• Write, review, and debug code; prototype solutions; and resolve production incidents.
• Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers, provide actionable feedback, and improve engineering tooling and practices.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
• Proven technical leadership on major projects and ability to guide other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a distributed, fast‑moving international team.
• Comfort with ambiguity, ownership from problem definition through production, and strong product sense.
