Lead - Marketing Planning & Strategy

About the role

Lead - Marketing Planning & Strategy is a senior‑level position that allows you to build and lead a team while driving the growth of our clients’ e‑commerce businesses. You will oversee the full marketing funnel, from media optimisation (AdWords, Facebook, CRM, SEO) to conversion‑focused strategies that boost sales.

Key responsibilities

• Own client success, ensuring overall performance and satisfaction.
• Design client roadmaps based on objectives, data and industry best practices.
• Set up efficient work processes, manage deadlines and scope, and monitor budgets and key metrics.
• Collaborate with media optimisation teams to meet budget, targets and timelines.
• Produce performance reports with data‑driven insights across all media channels.
• Identify and implement improvements to client performance and team efficiency.
• Develop data‑driven online marketing strategies and media plans that align with business goals.
• Upsell aCommerce services and mentor 1‑3 junior team members.

Required profile

• Experience in client‑facing or consulting roles such as Account/Project Manager or Sales.
• Strong analytical ability to work with data, extract insights and define next steps.
• Excellent organisation, problem‑solving and multi‑project management skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Proactive, independent and team‑oriented attitude with a professional work ethic.
• Background in e‑commerce or managing own online shops is a plus.
