Local Government Affairs Specialist

About the role

ACCIONA Energía seeks a proactive Local Government Affairs professional to support wind farm projects in Amnat Charoen, Thailand. You will coordinate permitting, manage relationships with authorities and communities, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with government agencies and financial institutions to secure and renew PPA permits and project licenses.
• Prepare official letters and legal compliance documentation.
• Monitor permit status, manage renewals, and act as primary contact between contractors, authorities, and financiers.
• Arrange site meetings, public hearings, and obtain project study approvals from Subdistrict Administrative Organizations.
• Advise on local regulations and contracts, supporting corporate document changes in line with Thai commercial law.
• Assist the ESG department with community development and social workflow tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Political Science, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years experience in government relations or permit acquisition, preferably in the energy sector.

Required skills

• Excellent drafting skills for official Thai documentation.
• Professional proficiency in English.
