Operational Excellence Lead

About the role

The Operational Excellence Lead will drive the maturity and consistency of the Maersk Way of Working across the Area, leading complex cross‑functional business optimisation and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex Operational Excellence initiatives aligned to Area priorities, providing senior expertise on TMW deployment, process transformation and operating model redesign.
• Act as a senior partner and escalation point for high‑impact initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, standardized and sustainable.
• Coach and train practitioners on Lean, Kaizen, A3 problem‑solving and other TMW tools, building capability across the Area.
• Partner with digitalisation, automation and data teams to define and implement technology‑enabled improvements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement or business transformation.
• Proven track record of leading complex cross‑functional initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.
• Strong stakeholder influencing and facilitation skills in matrix environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
