Oracle PeopleSoft Database Administrator

About the role

The United Nations Secretariat’s Enterprise Application Center in Bangkok is looking for an experienced consultant to manage and optimise Oracle PeopleSoft and Microsoft SQL Server databases. The role focuses on ensuring high performance, stability, and seamless upgrades for critical corporate systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, fine‑tune, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft and MS‑SQL databases.
• Validate schema and parameter changes submitted by development teams.
• Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and environment refreshes for PeopleSoft.
• Develop and execute performance‑tuning and maintenance plans.
• Provide on‑call production support and ensure system availability.
• Support customisations, integrations, and DR testing across PeopleSoft environments.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve upgrade‑related issues.
• Create and maintain UNIX and Windows automation scripts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on PeopleSoft administration experience.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
