Project Engineering Superintendent – Filling & Packing

About the role

The Project Engineering Superintendent will lead filling and packing line projects, ensuring they meet hygienic design standards and deliver on time.

Key responsibilities

• Understand project scope and objectives to ensure clear outcomes.
• Draft basic User Requirement Specifications (URS) aligned with hygienic design principles.
• Consult with 2‑3 suppliers, analyse offers and recommend the most suitable based on cost, quality and reliability.
• Coordinate contractors and factory activities to guarantee smooth execution.
• Monitor installation progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of project engineering experience in food manufacturing, preferably on end‑of‑line packing lines.
• Strong knowledge of hygienic design principles and their practical application.
• Proven ability to write clear user requirement specifications independently.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
