Project Engineering Superintendent – Food Processing

About the role

The Project Engineering Superintendent will lead engineering activities for food‑processing capital projects in Samut Prakan, guiding them from concept through detailed design, installation, commissioning and hand‑over. You will translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure solutions meet safety, quality and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end engineering for food‑processing projects, from concept development to operational hand‑over.
• Translate user requirements into clear technical specifications and fit‑for‑purpose designs.
• Support project planning, including scope definition, CAPEX estimation, scheduling and risk management.
• Provide expertise on process design, equipment selection, line integration and performance optimisation.
• Review process flows, layouts and supplier proposals to ensure hygienic design, maintainability and compliance.
• Act as technical interface during design reviews, supplier clarification, FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning.
• Lead or support commissioning, start‑up, validation and performance verification activities.
• Ensure project documentation, training and lessons learned are completed for sustainable operation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in food or chemical processing, process engineering or capital project execution.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, hygienic engineering and equipment design.
• Proven experience working with OEMs, contractors and suppliers through equipment selection, FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of food safety, process safety, machinery safety and relevant engineering standards.
• Fluent in English and Thai for effective stakeholder coordination.
