Project Manager - AI Fintech

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of banking software solutions, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Bangkok. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in representing projects, ensuring the successful delivery of complex implementations, and managing innovative banking AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI‑focused projects that enhance core banking solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to define project scope, gather requirements, and develop detailed project plans.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and within‑scope delivery of projects.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and assess project risks related to implementations and core banking operations, developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives and improve efficiency.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project‑management experience, with significant experience in developing banking or financial software/systems.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in banking or financial services.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in English and Thai is essential.
• Expertise in project‑management methodologies and tools; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
