Quality Engineer – Customer Complaint & Value Stream

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to lead end‑to‑end customer complaint handling and drive continuous quality improvement across our plant operations in Rayong, Thailand. The role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues and compliance with product standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact point for customers regarding quality issues and manage the full complaint lifecycle from intake through investigation to closure.
• Lead problem‑solving activities using structured methodologies such as 8D, root‑cause analysis (RCA) and the 5‑Why technique.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to implement containment, corrective and preventive actions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Analyze complaint trends, report key metrics (PPM, defect rate, recurrence) to management and ensure no recurrence of issues.
• Support customer audits, visits and quality reviews, providing timely technical reports.
• Participate in APQP and PPAP activities for new products and engineering changes, coordinating validation, testing and customer approval.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in handling customer complaints in an automotive or industrial environment.
• Excellent communication skills to represent the customer voice internally and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
