Sales Engineer - Security System

About the role

Johnson Controls is hiring a Sales Engineer for its Fire Control Security (CFS) solutions. The role drives sales to new and existing customers by understanding their needs, tailoring solutions and presenting them to stakeholders, working closely with the sales team to turn leads into opportunities while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities using strong technical knowledge of CFS systems.
• Conduct site visits and audits to assess customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
• Use CRM software to track interactions and sales progress, keeping accurate records and forecasts.
• Work with engineering and technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and compliant.
• Build long-term customer relationships and report regularly on sales performance.

Required profile

• Above 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing role in direct selling for CFS solutions in the construction and building market.
• Experience in sales and distribution development, preferably with a customer base.
• Ability to forecast pricing, quotations and budgets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and relationship management skills; proactive team player with problem-solving spirit.
• Fluent written and spoken English; computer literate.
• Having a car is an advantage.
